Abundant Energy offers small,
friendly Tai Chi (Taijiquan) classes that are suitable for all levels of
fitness. Its slow moving, continuous and flowing exercises are practised for
its benefits to health and the movements, along with a focus on breathing, have
a calming effect.
Spring term starts from 08 January 2024 Monday Morning - beginners class Lenham, East Kent in the Community Centre (followed by a Qigong class). Places available at this class. Wednesday morning - beginner and intermediate/advanced classes at KBT Academy, Bexleyheath 9:45-10:45 Intermediate/Advanced - previous experience required. 11:15-12:15 Beginners - limited availability.
Wednesday afternoon - mixed group at Eltham 1:30-2:30pm - a few beginners places available. Thursday morning - Qigong class at KBT Academy, Bexleyheath (see Qigong page) - new beginners welcome. Weekly classes take place where students can work
within their own ability without any strain on the body as the movements are
slow and within a 'comfortable' range of motion. All movements can be adapted
to suit the abilities of each individual person. Beginners should inform the
instructor of any relevant health so the instructor can adjust the lesson to
suit their particular needs. Courses run on a termly basis and it is advisable
to book well in advance as places are limited and our classes are very popular.
